From effective medications to practical tips, we have the resources you need to manage and minimize the discomfort caused by hay fever.
-
Approximately 10-15% of the population suffer from seasonal rhinitis, otherwise known as hay fever or pollen allergy. It is caused by an allergic reaction to pollen, typically when it comes into contact with your eyes, nose, mouth and throat. Although pollen itself is harmless, in hay fever sufferers, it is the body’s immune system that overreacts to the allergen.

We can consult with you to find the most suitable treatment for your hay fever, these include:
Advising on self help measures, for example; place Vaseline around your nostrils to trap the pollen or perhaps wear wrap-around sunglasses to limit pollen getting into the eyes.
Reviewing and helping you understand over the counter medications; such as eye drops, antihistamines and nasal sprays.
Discuss and prescribe prescription medications (if necessary); which include anti histamines, steroid nasal sprays or other treatments that we feel may help you.

If you require a prescription we can send this to our partner pharmacy, Pharmacierge, who will contact you to arrange payment and deliver the medication to you.
